Modern life is fundamentally sedentary, we get up in the morning and sit on the public transport to work. When we get to work we sit all day in front of the computer and then go home and sit in front of the tv all evening. This is combined with a great demand from advertisement to look trim and healthy.

The government is catching up with the idea that exercise is essential to keep us healthy and active for longer, with incentives to cycle to work and watch what we eat.

The gyms are full of people with good intention but not all of them will be able to keep up their exercise routine for long, mainly if you have not exercised for a long time.

Sports and exercise can exacerbate underlying strains and soon, aches and pains arise from a poor structural balance by making strong muscles stronger and weak muscles weaker.

Osteopathic treatment is essentially designed to restore your body alignment and allow you to go back into training. I can liaise with your personal trainer to get the best out of your workout.

I see my goal as an osteopath as making sure you are able to exercise and keep fit for longer.
